Scaling Properties of Hadron Production in the Ising Model for Quark-Hadron Phase Transition
نویسنده
چکیده
Earlier study of quark-hadron phase transition in the Ginzberg-Landau theory is reexamined in the Ising model, so that spatial fluctuations during the transition can be taken into account. Although the dimension of the physical system is 2, as will be argued, both d = 2 and d = 4 Ising systems are studied, the latter being theoretically closer to the Ginzberg-Landau theory. The normalized factorial moments Fq are used to quantify multiplicity fluctuations, and the scaling exponent ν is used to characterize the scaling properties. It is found by simulation on the Ising lattice that ν becomes a function of the temperature T near Tc. The average value of ν over a range of T < Tc agrees with the value of 1.3 derived analytically from the Ginzberg-Landau theory. Thus the implications of the mean-field theory are not invalidated by either the introduction of spatial fluctuations or the restriction to a 2D system.

Fluctuation of Voids in Hadronization at Phase Transition
Starting from the recognition that hadrons are not produced smoothly at phase transition, the fluctuation of spatial patterns is investigated by finding a measure of the voids that exhibits scaling behavior. The Ising model is used to simulate a crossover in quark-hadron phase transition. A threshold in hadron density is used to define a void. The dependence of the scaling exponents on that thr...
متن کاملHypercentral Constituent Quark Model and Isospin for the Baryon Static Properties
So far the static properties of hadrons have been introduced in various models. The static properties of hadrons (charge radius, magnetic moment, etc.) are useful for understanding the quark structure of hadron. In this work we have introduced the hypercentral constituent quark and isospin dependent potentials. Here constituent quarks interact with each other via a potential in which we have ta...
متن کاملCritical Behavior of Hadronic Fluctuations and the Effect of Final-state Randomization
The critical behaviors of quark-hadron phase transition are explored by use of the Ising model adapted for hadron production. Various measures involving the fluctuations of the produced hadrons in bins of various sizes are examined with the aim of quantifying the clustering properties that are universal features of all critical phenomena. Some of the measures involve wavelet analysis. Two of th...

Nowadays, heavy mesons and baryons are produced and decayed at LHC in abundance. These processes are good sources to study the QCD theory, especially to study the hadron structures. Therefore, the phenomenology of heavy hadrons fragmentation function is a basic and important subject in the Particle Physics. In the present work, we replicate the calculation heavy meson fragmentation function in...
متن کاملCluster growth in two-dimensional quark-hadron phase transition.
The problem of hadronic cluster production in heavy-ion collisions is studied in search for an observable signature of first-order quark-hadron phase transition. The study is carried out by cellular automata in a two-dimensional model of the mixed phase at midrapidity. The clusters are allowed to grow as well as to coalesce upon collision. The distribution of cluster sizes is found to exhibit s...
